Mulmaru
Mulmaru (물마루) is a bold yet smooth looking pixel style free Korean font. It was created from the need for better typography in Korean pixel game localization. According to the author mushsooni, he struggled to find a suitable fonts out there when translating games to Korean. Hence, with the references from the existing pixel fonts, he created Malmaru. Malmaru was rendered best at 12px (or 9pt), featuring thick vertical strokes and rounded edges, making it a comfortably readable font set in pixel style.
Malmaru comes with proportional and monospaced version and it supports Korean, Latin, Cyrillic and even Japanese Kana characters, totaling 11,937 characters. It was released under SIL Open Font License (version 1.1), therefore you can download this font for free and use it on both commercial and non-commercial projects, and you can also embed, modify and redistribute this font under this license.
