Kakao Big Sans
Kakao Big Sans (카카오 큰글씨) is one of the two newly released free Korean font by the tech giant Kakao Corp. Kakao Big Sans is designed for large font size display in mind. The font features a solid, stable and tightly packed modular structure, making it ideal for delivering clear information in both headings and body text.
Kakao Big Sans comes with three font weights: Regular which is suitable for body text, with Bold and ExtraBold that are designed for title and large display. The font comes with Korean characters, Latin characters, Cyrillic characters, Japanese kana characters and symbols. This font family is released under SIL Open Font License v1.1, making this font a free font for all for personal and commercial use.

To download, visit the page and look for the green “Code” button. Once clicking it, a popover should appear with the option to “Download ZIP”. Clicking it will download the entire repository. You should be able to find the font family under the “fonts” folder inside “Kakao Big Sans” folder. In Photoshop, I was able to select this font under the name “Kakao Big Sans”. However for some reason the ExtraBold weight was registered as a different font family with the Korean name (However it appears as gibberish with my computer).
