Kaitou Yokoku Gothic

Kaitou Yokoku Gothic is an expressive, eye-catchy ransom effect free font that is available for download. This font was originally created mainly as a Japanese font, but it contains massive glyphs and it too supports Korean characters. The author created this font by mixing Source Han Sans or Noto Sans with their Serif counterpart, then added the rectangle frame behind each letters and randomize the angle and sizes to create the typical ransom style text effect. The Korean letters are using the Sans serif version, while the Latin script are mixed between Sans and Serif. In the end, this mixture of style resulted in a very randomized, interesting font design. I would imagine this font probably has very little use case, as it is one of those font that will be useful only when needed. I can imagine when using this font, we probably will be spending a lot of time arranging it with different colors and textures to make it even more realistic.
Since this font uses Noto Sans and Serif as base, not only it supports Korean scripts, it also supports Latin, Cyrillic and full Japanese scripts. With the massive character library and ransom design style, the file size of this font is large too. All in all, this font is free and can be used in personal, non-commercial and commercial use, and it carries the same SIL Open Font License as Noto Sans/Serif.
