Griun Mongtori

Griun Mongtori (그리운 몽토리체) is a rounded and bold Korean handwriting font available to download for free. It was handwritten by a lady named Se Hui (세히). According to her, she was often complimented for her handwriting, and due to noticing herself taking notes more and more on iPad during her college days that inspired her to turn her handwriting into font. Many people mentioned that her handwriting reminded them of acorns (dotori) or had a soft, fluffy quality (monggeulmonggeul), therefore she combined the two to become “Mongtori” for this font.
Griun Mongtori has a thicker and consistent stroke width. With its thick stroke, it works beautifully well on video subtitles, and gives a friendly yet clean impression when used in journals, memos, posters and more. It supports full Korean characters and also basic Latin script. It’s free to download and be used on personal and commercial projects.
