Ownglyph YoonwooChae
Ownglyph YoonwooChae (온글잎 윤우체) is a scribbly yet tidy handwriting style Korean font that is free for download. The strokes are lighter, and comes with the handwriting textures, giving it a very realistic depiction of handwriting effect on papers. I also love how each letters are slanting up which gives a sense of rhythmic flow and dynamic to it. For Latin characters, I like the depiction of the lowercase “l” which looks like a looping ribbon.
Again, like many other Ownglyph fonts, Ownglyph YoonwooChae was created with Ownglyph app, a now decommissioned font creation service from Korea. It comes with the standard Korean characters and basic Latin characters and punctuations, good enough for daily use. You can download this font for free and be used on personal and commercial projects.
